Join our client, a major NSW government agency delivering large-scale road maintenance and resilience programs across metropolitan and regional networks.

We are seeking an experienced Contract Administration Officer with strong exposure to progress claims and contractor variations to support operational project teams within a high-volume infrastructure environment.

The Role This position plays a key role in supporting the commercial relationship between project teams, contractors and shared services functions. The focus is on ensuring all contractor claims, variations and payments are assessed, processed and managed in line with legislative and financial compliance requirements.

You will operate autonomously within agreed work plans, managing competing priorities and ensuring statutory timeframes are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

Review, assess and process contractor progress claims
Prepare and issue payment schedules and payment certificates in accordance with the Security of Payment Act (SOPA)
Assess, track and manage contract variations
Raise, amend and reconcile purchase orders
Support month-end accruals and financial reporting
Maintain accurate records across SAP and procurement systems
Liaise with internal project managers, engineers and shared services teams
Respond to contractor and supplier enquiries relating to claims and payments
Ensure compliance with NSW Government financial policies and audit requirements

Key selection criteria:

Demonstrated experience processing progress claims in a construction, civil or infrastructure environment
Strong understanding of contractor variations and contract administration processes
Experience working within strict statutory timeframes (SOPA exposure highly regarded)
Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP/procurement systems
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
The ability to manage multiple claims and competing deadlines
Strong stakeholder communication skills
A Certificate IV in Business, Finance, Administration or Accounting (or equivalent practical experience) will be highly regarded.

The Role

Full-time Contract position.

Rate: $79.18 – $84.56 per hour plus super

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage reconciliations across payroll, Superstream, long service leave, HRIS, and Paid Parental Leave schemes.
Monitor the general ledger, perform accrual sampling, and ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
Support preparation of interim and year-end financial statements, analytical reviews, and quarterly reporting.
Provide guidance on financial policies, procedures, and SAP system processes.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and controls, leveraging digital tools and data analytics.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, regional offices, and external stakeholders.

Key selection criteria:

Strong knowledge of financial management legislation, policies, and practices working in Government or with Large corperations.
Skilled in general ledger processes, reporting, and financial systems.
Excellent communicator with the ability to provide strategic advice.
Highly organised, able to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines.
Collaborative team player experienced in stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications:

Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business Administration highly desirable.
CPA, CA, or equivalent membership highly regarded.

A leading local government council is seeking a Senior Waste Contracts and Projects Officer to join their team at the Browns Plains Waste and Recycling Facility (41 Recycle Way, Browns Plains, QLD 4118). This full-time, contract position, Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.

The Role:

You will oversee the council’s waste and recycling contracts and projects, ensuring services meet performance standards, deliver value to the community, and comply with contractual obligations. As the escalation point for contract management, you will resolve service issues, provide expert advice on procurement and development, and support stakeholders with waste collection arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage waste and recycling service contracts, monitoring contractor performance and compliance.
Act as escalation point for service, contract, and customer enquiries or complaints.
Provide expert advice on contract management, procurement, and project development.
Plan and oversee projects to ensure services are fit for purpose and meet council standards.

About You:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• A proven ability to engage communities, build relationships with diverse stakeholders, and manage messaging with sensitivity—especially in high-profile or fast-paced environments.
• Experience working within or with government departments, balancing community value with organisational priorities.

We are currently seeking an AO4 Procurement Officer to support a major Queensland Government transport agency responsible for planning, building, and maintaining the state’s extensive road network and transport infrastructure. The Opportunity In this role, you will support procurement activities that underpin the delivery of transport infrastructure projects. You will contribute across the full procurement lifecycle, from planning and documentation through to evaluation and supply arrangement establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and apply procurement policies and procedures in line with departmental and whole-of-government requirements.
Support end-to-end procurement activities, including procurement planning, documentation review, evaluation processes, and establishment of supply arrangements.
Provide administrative and project support on more complex procurement activities under the direction of senior procurement advisors.
Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding procurement processes, procedures, and delegations.
Maintain procurement records, spreadsheets, and registers to support accurate reporting and governance requirements.
Assist in identifying opportunities to improve procurement processes and operational efficiency.

About the Role

A broader team of QA staff operating across day and night shift
Responsibility for maintaining and improving all site quality systems, auditing, compliance, and customer requirements
Oversight of a beef-only processing operation
A full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday overtime when production requires

Key Requirements

Demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance within food manufacturing
Strong understanding of BRC, HACCP, regulatory standards, and export compliance
Leadership experience managing QA teams or supervisors
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Meat industry or primary processing experience (highly regarded)

As Land Use Investigations Officer, you will join the existing team in a long-term role right from the off. Starting ASAP, this position will extend onwards until the end of November at the very earliest and is very likely to be ongoing past this into 2027.

In this role, you will play a key role in the protection of the local Environment in the Logan region. Being the key liaison between ongoing development in Logan and the protection of the environment/community, you will have a busy and interesting workload to get stuck into. Every day will be different and include the following duties:

Enforce the provisions of the planning scheme and the Sustainable Planning Act 2009 as a regulatory function of the development
assessment process.
Investigate, interview, gather evidence with a community education focus and formulate action with regards to the legislation
available in relation to alleged offences under the planning scheme:
- The investigation of allegations of activities as contained in the “defined users” in the town planning scheme.
- Investigations of allegations regarding land use outside the purpose definitions.
- Complaints arising from the existence of a Council approved activity.
- Complaints arising from activities outside of the approval conditions.
Liaise with owners, developers, contractors, builders, town planners, etc with respect to current or projected land use inconsistencies with the planning scheme and provide a quality direction for their future compliance.
Provide quality customer service in all dealings with all customers of the Branch.
Commence enforcement actions with regards to the planning scheme, local laws and subordinate local laws by issuing show cause
notices, enforcement notices, verbal direction compliance notices and where appropriate infringement notices.
Prosecution of offences where directed by Council including the giving of evidence in a Magistrates Court and Planning and
Environment Court.

Formal qualifications, such as the Associate Diploma - Built Environment or similar would be an advantage.
Knowledge of the Sustainable Planning Act 2009, Town Plan documents and Policies and ability to read and assess Building
Plans / Development Plans is desirable.
Proven ability to conduct inspections and investigations on a community level, and produce effective outcomes within the
parameters of relevant Legislation, relevant Local Laws and Council policies.
Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
and from all backgrounds and the ability to act tactfully in sometimes very sensitive situations.
Excellent written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to formulate concise and accurate written reports and
correspondence.
Proven ability to operate a computer to access and retrieve data in accordance with the Council’s requirements and procedures.
Ability to maintain effectiveness and motivation when required to do so and the ability to respect and accept requests, directions
and workforce change from Supervisory staff with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Excellent organisational skills, the ability to focus on specific tasks
