The organisation maintains an extensive services portfolio comprising of traditional and contemporary infrastructure services (e.g. desktop, productivity suite, email, secure access, networking, compute, storage data protection etc.) as well as an extensive application portfolio of business, clinical and integration applications. We operate in a federated environment providing services to the to several internal and commercialised business units. The role requires close collaboration and engagement across business and industry stakeholders to ensure the service portfolio aligns with business objectives of the organisation while ensuring relevant digital end to end services deliver value to our customers.
The organisation is undergoing significant and ongoing organisational change. This is a transformational and strategic role that spans traditional business functions across the business. Transformational change management, commercially oriented service leadership, communication and negotiation skills are essential. You will lead the implementation of services architectures focussing on, sustainability, transparency, efficiency, lean and agile principles, whilst maximising the services portfolio value to our customers.

Experience:
- 7 or more years experience in enterprise architecture/design within large, complex organisations.
- Proven ability to provide strategic direction that enables the delivery of sustainable, value for money, fit for purpose services and technologies that meet the business requirements of customers
- Proven ability to develop and manage stakeholder relationships, facilitate open communication, and capture and disseminate information.
- Strategic planning capability to advocate for services portfolio and technology reform.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering ICT services and solutions in a service provider or commercially oriented organisation
- Ability to provide specialist advice relating to enterprise technology architecture, influencing the broader architecture, ICT planning and any investment activities.
- Proven experience in developing, contributing to and review architectural strategies, mandated principles (standards) and roadmaps that meet the strategic requirements of the health system.
- A deep understanding of public sector operations, (particularly within the health care context) and the challenges faced by public sector managers in the provision of services.
- Strategic planning capability to lead, manage and advocate for business and system reform and to drive the adoptions of new services within a large, diverse and complex organisation.
- Demonstrated analytical and interpersonal skills commensurate with a complex and fast evolving service delivery organisation, including the ability to communicate with clarity and influence across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Manages resource requirements to ensure an appropriate balance between tactical and strategic demands
