An exciting opportunity has become available for a Quality Assurance Officer to join a well-established and rapidly growing Australian food manufacturer based in a highly centralised Sydney location with excellent transport access.

You will play a hands-on role supporting food safety, quality compliance and continuous improvement across a busy production environment, working closely with Production, Technical and Operations teams.

You will play a hands-on role supporting food safety, quality compliance and continuous improvement across a busy production environment, working closely with Production, Technical and Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily GMP and hygiene inspections across production
- Support HACCP, food safety and quality systems compliance
- Manage documentation, records and corrective actions
- Assist with internal audits, customer requirements and verification activities
- Investigate non-conformances and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide on-floor QA support during production
- Previous experience in food manufacturing QA (high-risk or fresh food highly regarded)
- Understanding of HACCP, GMP and food safety principles
- Strong attention to detail and documentation capability
- Confident communicator with a hands-on, proactive approach
- Food Science / QA qualification desirable
