An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Engineering Manager to join a well-established snack food manufacturer on a 3-month contract.

This role is ideal for someone available immediately and looking to step into a fast-paced FMCG environment.

As the Engineering Manager, you will provide leadership to the engineering and maintenance teams, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient plant performance across production.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day engineering and maintenance operations
• Oversee preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance programs
• Support production through rapid fault-finding and problem-solving
• Manage small to medium capital works and continuous improvement activities
• Coordinate contractors and ensure compliance with site safety standards
• Work closely with Production, Quality and Leadership teams to optimise performance
• Ensure all engineering documentation, reporting and CMMS updates are completed accurately
• Provide hands-on guidance and leadership to trades and technical staff

About You

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager or similar within FMCG/food manufacturing
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical background
• Confident leading teams in a fast-paced production environment
• Available for an immediate or short-notice start
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
